    Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba said it plans to spin off HiChina (www.net.cn), its domain- name service subsidinary, for an IPO in the U.S. Although didn’t disclose the financing amount of HiChina, an earlier report said the company may raise between US$200 million and US$300 million. Dow Jones reported on Sunday that the company could be valued at around US$500 million, citing an anonymous source.
