Thank you for the review Sherpas! I learned a lot. I appreciate your time so much, even when its not my portfolio!

Regarding guides.io – Once someone mentioned trecking or mountain climbing guides (or something), no one thought of video game guides, programming guides, etc for the rest of the show!

I use the Carson valuation method which is why I decided to buy it. 56,000 hits in Github. 6 Billion results in Google. So many uses!

I’m not disagreeing that there are better .io names (guide.io would be killer). I don’t expect to see $56K out of the name either. But it was funny to me that one person mentioned trecking guides, and thats all anyone thought of for the name.

  2. tldboss says:

    Thanks Sherpas, great show.

I have seen KeepCalm around, great name. Well done Drew. Congrats on the sale @Amanda. Shane good luck, hope you sell the name for 10x soon, that would be a decent roi.

Agree, Namejet list is not strong. it’s usually better than the investor submitted names.

  3. Nick van Leeuwen says:

Thanks again for a great show! Already learned so much from Andrew and Shane in the past. Keep it going! :)

    Thanks,

    Nick

One of the richest people in the world may have a trademark on it but It’s been my surname before they founded their company and any possible trademark etc

I bought it for reg fee lol
