Speaking of Deflategate.com, you should check out the new website.

  2. Omar Negron says:

Thanks for another great interview again Mike! Some good things the Sherpas shared.

    A few things specifically.

    1. I’ve heard that ignoring an offer is commonplace if the offer isn’t serious but I do not like this strategy. Sometimes people can contact you just to “test the waters” to see what your counter will be. I’ve read in several places where meager offers led to bigger, noteworthy sales. Also, even if a potential buyer keeps low-balling, we are running a business and should respond to them with respect. Ignoring shows a level of being unprofessional. I guess this can go both ways if they keep sending horrible offers but the extra 5 seconds it takes to respond shouldn’t take to much time out of your day.

    2. I like how they mentioned quoting a price that may be above your expectations. You never know. Might hit a price you never believed you could get.

    3. With the sale of the Rand Paul, I wonder if COMMON first name last name .COM domains garner much interest from the end user side of things. I’m not referring to celebrity names of course but more common names.

Anyway, thanks Mike and the rest of panel!

    -Omar

  3. Please explain what a micro-site is?

  6. Toya Dahal says:

Dot com is king ever,Better start to buy more ,New extention sucks unless you buy exact match.

  7. Leonard Britt says:

Great program! FYI for Page I stumbled across a .LA in use today LTV.LA

  8. albert says:

Not to put a damper on anyone’s parade as far as “investing” in domain names is concerned, however, I used to have over 600 of .com’s (one .net) and used to sell a lot of them. I am down to less then half because the “parking” revenue is no longer there and I have not seen too many inquires the last two years.

Maybe my names are not good but, I do think that overall, the business of buying and selling has really slowed down.

    Just my opinion.

Thanks for another great one guys.

  9. Toya Dahal says:

  12. Noor Manji says:

Very analytical show today…..great to see 3 different point of views.
Page has multiple scenarios from many different angles, which is great to hear.
Andrew has very simple but effective analysis – love the podcasts btw.
Mike Berkens looks the part of the Domain Emperor, I knew he would recommend to buy 1 3 letter .com for 10K.
Mike Cyger, another super show, thank you all and have a super weekend.

  13. Steven P says:

    Great Show. Thanks guys.

I have one question for the next show: What is the minimum wholesale price, regardless of Number or letter combo for 2 character .net and .org domain names?

    Thanks

  14. Adrijus says:

LLL.com domains are going to the bubble and prices gonna drop. I can bet with anybody on that.

The same with LLLL.com, over 650k domains and even most shitty cost $50 now. One domainer buying from another, and just some goes to end users. Someday this circle will stop.

    1. Xavier Lemay says:

3 Letter .com are limited supplies. It’s now or never to get a short .com for a “reasonable price”
.com is getting stronger. I only see 3 Letter .com value going UP unless .com is dead….

      1. Adrijus says:

Everybody said that before 2008-2009 crisis too… But economy goes in circles ups and downs, that’s reality. If it goes down, all sectors goes down Real Estate, domains and etc.

Nothing can go up all the time, especially when it doubles in such short time period (1 ago you could get many not premium LLL.com for 5k, today lowest ~10k).

  15. Jahfree says:

    Great show, thanks Sherpas!

Im surprised no one mentioned 4 Letter .coms, the rock bottom price has doubled in the last couple months!
