These apps are available in the iTunes store, and most run on iOS 3.0 or higher and are under $2.00.
Available in English, this free domain search app allows you to search for top-level domestic and international domain names. It includes the capability to share search results by email. Domainr not only shows if a domain is available, it tells you if it is possible to register an available domain name and provides links to registrars. Domainr also includes permalinks for established URLs to include as links to your personal blog and website.
iDomainSpin helps you find the perfect domain name for your website or blog by giving you a list of available domain names that have recently expired based on the keywords you enter into the search bar. Due to infrequent occurrences of mild profanity and crude humor, this application is not recommended for children under the age of 9.
3. Word Merge
Word Merge can help you come up with unique and fun new words for a possibly great idea for a domain name. You enter up to two primary keywords and this app combines them and variations to create a new domain name.
The Domgen app is useful for domain name availability checks, but its main function is to generate random domain names based on keywords. It provides search results on both domestic and international top-level domains with the exception of .mil domains.
This application is a domain name valuation estimator that is based on pay per click (PPC) and cost per acquisition (CPA) in net present values, future values, or sales multiples.

Users can also find information for IP addresses and networks and autonomous systems. This app is available in seven languages and works on WI-FI, Edge, and 3G connections.
DomainStorm is a well rounded domain application that provides domain name availability checks, Whois lookups, and will give suggestions of available domain names from a variety of sources when you enter some keywords and shake your iPhone. You can also register your domain name with this application. DomainStorm is offered by Network Solutions.
9. GoDaddy.com Mobile Domain Manager
This domain name application is a well rounded domain management and hosting solution. Users can do an availability check on top-level domains, register, manage or renew domains. Users can also purchase and manage hosting and email with this app. There is also a Whois look-up capability, in addition to other features. GoDaddy.com Mobile Domain Manager is offered by Go Daddy.
DomainTyper is a domain name application that includes availability checks for .com, .net, and .org domains, a WHOIS look-up for domain names, and a domain name generator.
