    Google bolsters +1 domain name coverage with .me purchases. Google has purchased the domain name Plus.me, updated whois records show. The domain name was apparently purchased in November of last year, but remained under whois privacy protection until today. The purchase appears to be related to Google’s +1 tool.

    After the market closed today, VeriSign, Inc. reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011. VeriSign reported revenue of $182 million for the first quarter of 2011, up 2% from the prior quarter and up 12% from the same quarter in 2010.
