Dropcatching

Dropcatching is the process of using automated systems to register expired domains within a fraction of a second of their being cancelled by the registry.

Many people believe that dropcatching is wrong, citing that dropcatching can lead to more serious abuses such as domain tasting, domain kiting and typo-squatting.
